# Theme of World IA Day 2025-Challenging Changes

**25 September 2024** — Information Architecture is the backbone of how we organize, structure, and label information in a way that makes it accessible and usable. As technology evolves, information architecture (IA) enhances user experience by intuitively organizing information, allowing users to quickly and efficiently find what they need. Structured content improves information retrieval and supports adapting to new technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning. Information architecture also maintains a human-centered design approach, ensuring that digital experiences are created with empathy and user needs at the forefront.
