# How it works

### Program overview

The Information Architecture Certificate Program includes three four-week intensive courses. It serves beginners, career-changers, and practitioners.

Each course combines live 90-minute Google Meet sessions with asynchronous Google Classroom work.

* **Cohort size:** 10 students, supporting meaningful feedback and peer interaction.
* **Time commitment:** 4–5 hours weekly. This includes 1.5 live hours and 2–3 async hours.
* **Prerequisites:** No degree or technical background is required.

### Requirements for certification

Complete these requirements to earn a **Course Certificate of Completion**:

* [ ] Sign the student agreement before the course begins.
* [ ] Attend live sessions. Missing more than one disqualifies you.
* [ ] Complete weekly assignments and join group discussions.
* [ ] Submit a final project during the final week.

Complete all three courses to earn the full **WIAA Information Architecture Certificate**.
