## Local and global events

This usually takes place in early March. You can help as a volunteer or just attend it. ## Global organization

You can support the global organization by volunteering or by becoming part of the organization.

* If you are **new to IA or a similar field**, WIAA can offer opportunities to join the community by helping with projects or communication about the events.
* If you are a **more seasoned member of the community**, you can apply for open posts in or around the global board.
