# WIAD website presence

Your WIAD microsite is the official source of information for your local celebration. Keep it current before, during, and after the event.

Accurate content helps attendees register, partners understand your event, and future organizers learn from your work.

### Manage your local microsite

Each WIAD location manages its own microsite. Organize it around your local community and event needs.

Use the microsite to publish current event information and preserve useful resources from past events.

Review [Your local microsite](/wiad-organizer-guide/branding-marketing-+-promotion/updating-the-wiad-website/your-location-page.md) for content recommendations.

### Keep your microsite current

Before you promote, confirm that the microsite includes:

* Date, time, venue or online access details, and registration link.
* Program schedule, presenters, and local organizer information.
* Clear information about access, parking, transit, and accommodations.

Update the microsite whenever a key detail changes. After the event, add recordings, slides, photos, or other useful resources.

### Publish accessible content

Make information easy to find and use:

* Use descriptive headings and links.
* Add alt text to meaningful images.
* Keep essential details in text, not images alone.

Review [Keep accessibility in mind](/wiad-organizer-guide/branding-marketing-+-promotion/updating-the-wiad-website/keep-accessibility-in-mind.md) before publishing.

### Represent the WIAD brand

Use your official WIAD email address for event communications. Apply the visual identity consistently across your microsite and other channels.

Review [Logo and branding guidelines](/wiad-organizer-guide/branding-marketing-+-promotion/logo-and-branding-guidelines.md) and [Using a common language](/wiad-organizer-guide/branding-marketing-+-promotion/using-a-common-language.md) before publishing.
